Now that you are finished you should have a better understanding of how America changed and advanced in the late 1700s and early 1800s.  The United States was able to expand and dominate the continent as a result of many of the changes and improvements of the Industrial Revolution.  The U.S. was well on its way to becoming one of the most powerful, wealthy, and influential countries in the world.
 
However, the United States still was lacking in many areas. You may want to further research the ways that the U.S. failed to follow a path of progress.  For example, you could study the horrible system of slavery, or investigate the treatment and relocation of Native Americans.  There are many websites that discuss these and other issues in America during this time period.
