This WebQuest will help you to gain a deeper understanding of the Industrial Revolution by exploring various websites.  The Industrial Revolution changed the way people lived in different parts of the world.  America experienced this revolution in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.  There were new ways of communication, traveling, manufacturing, doing business, and much more.  By using the internet and completing the tasks, you wil gain a greater understanding of the Industrial Revolution and how it affected American life.  Also, you will take on the role of an Industrial Revolution era inventor and use what you have learned to design something that can make life a little easier.
