The materials required for this lesson are:
- At least one computer per pair of students. One computer per student is a plus, but not necessary.
- Art supplies for students to carry out the drawing task. White paper approximately 11"x15" should be sufficient. Pencils, black pens, and rulers will be needed as well. Supplies for color drawings are optional and at the discretion of the teacher.
- Textbooks are also at the discretion of the teacher.
One teacher should be able to accomplish this lesson with his/her class without any outside assistance. Field trips related to the lesson are a possibility (i.e. an Industrial Revolution museum trip).
